Baton Rouge’s Official New Year’s Eve Celebration
To give the City of Baton Rouge a New Year’s Eve celebration, Rannah Gray created the “Red Stick Revelry” brand and led fundraising efforts to design and build a 9-foot LED Red Stick to drop in Town Square, and produce a family arts event and outdoor live concert leading to the countdown to midnight.
Rannah Gray worked with graphic designer Sarah Powell to create the Red Stick Revelry brand which was used for the Red Stick that drops in Town Square, t-shirts, pendants and other materials. The logo was adapted for use as the Baton Rouge Bicentennial logo.
Red Stick Revelry, now in its fifth year, turned downtown Baton Rouge into a New Year’s Eve destination, bringing new business to downtown restaurants, clubs and hotels.
