GETTING THE CAPITAL REGION MOVING

Citizen input across five Capital Region parishes was needed to develop the long-range transportation plan for the Capital Region. Working with Neel-Schaffer Engineers and the Capital Region Planning Commission, we facilitated online surveys, stakeholder workshops and public meetings.

Planning THE FUTURE IN THE CAPITAL CITY

As lead public outreach consultants for East Baton Rouge Parish's comprehensive master plan for land use and development, we designed a trusted brand and worked with national urban planners Fregonese and Associates to recruit over 2,000 citizen planners to provide input.

creating a legacy event

To create an official celebration that would attract local residents and regional visitors, we led the fundraising and planning efforts that made Baton Rouge a regional destination for New Year's  Eve. After 5 years, Red Stick Revelry has attracted media attention from as far away as the Atlanta market.

connecting people with job centers

Providing public outreach services for a modern streetcar system to connect people with a major job center, we helped HNTB attract overflow attendance at public meetings, news coverage that educated the public on the economic benefits of modern transportation systems, and a national award from the Federal Transit Administration.

improving safety for bicyclists & pedestrians

Challenged with creating a public education campaign that would reach teen drivers, we conducted focus groups and research to develop the right media mix. At the heart of the campaign was a high school video contest with the winning team video produced and airing in local theatres and on TV.
